VCAA PICTURE DAY, HIT-A-THON & RAFFLE
WILL BE ON MARCH 24, 2012; 9am – 3pm

WHAT IS THE HIT-A-THON?
 Each player will receive a Hit-A-Thon sponsor sheet before the event to raise money for their team
 Each player will get 10 pitched balls (T-Ball players hit from the tee) – Parents, siblings and friends can hit 10 pitched balls for $5

WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
 MVPs: The three players in the league who bring in the most sponsorship money overall will win Apple Store Gift Cards ($100 for MVP#1, $75 for MVP #2 and $50 for MVP #3)
 Division All-Stars: The one player in each division who raises the most money for their division will win a $25 gift card to VCAA Balls & Strikes Café (one winner per division)
 Team 125: Every player who raises $125 will receive a $10 gift card to VCAA Balls & Strikes Cafe

WHAT IS THE RAFFLE?

 Each team will be assigned a basket theme to create a gift basket for the raffle (suggested value is $100 per basket)
 Individual families are also encouraged to donate (or ask businesses) for raffle items…a donation request letter is attached and is also available on the VCAA website (www.vcaa.org)
 All donations are due by March 17th
 You can give items to your team parent or to Samantha Friedman (sam.friedman@hotmail.com)
 Raffle item ideas: Gift Certificates/Gift Cards from stores, restaurants, salons and other local businesses, Tickets for sporting events and shows or concerts, Time shares, hotel stays or other travel-related items, Sports camps and lessons, Movie, TV and Sports memorabilia…the possibilities are endless!!!

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

 Check the VCAA website for your team’s hitting and photo schedule
 Hit-A-Thon T-shirts: Before March 17th, $12 Youth & $15 adult – After March 17th, $15 Youth & $18 Adult
 Raffle tickets: $1 each or 25/$20.
