Mission Statement
The Board of Directors of VCAA holds to one accord the
truths that reflect the heart of each board member. Each board member
is committed to study God’s Word and the practical application
of its principles in their own lives and the lives of their families.
The Board of Directors holds to the following Mission Statement:
- To teach players that whatever they do, they would do it for
the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- To teach, build and encourage Christian character development
in each player.
- To teach players the fundamental skills of baseball/softball
and how to play the game.
- To teach players to strive for excellence on and off the field
of competition.
- To teach players the value of hard work and practice in preparation
for competition.
- To teach players to strive to give their best effort and realize
that in doing so, the rewards far exceed the score at the end
of the competition.
- To teach players to exercise self-control and humility on and
off the field of competition.
- To teach players to compete as team members and not as individuals,
while continuing to strive for individual excellence.
- To teach players to enjoy the games of baseball/softball.
- To remember that the greatest example we can give to our players
is not in the things we say, but in the actions we model daily
in front of our players.

Throughout the year we always need volunteers to help out in various
areas. Please be generous with your time and energy. You will find
it a very rewarding experience. If you would like to help out
this season, drop us an e-mail and let us know in what areas
you can help in.
A league only works as well as its volunteers do !!!
